Computerized Sewing Machines

The first sewing machines have come a long way. From hand cranks to computerized sewing machines the evolution of sewing has been amazing.

If you are unfamiliar with computerized sewing machines, they are made with either built in computer chips that allow you to store stitches and patterns or work through integrating with your computer or laptop.

An example of one that is affordable and integratable is the Singer Futura CE. This machine is equipped to embroider 120 different designs. You musty have Windows 98 or later to as your operating system to integrate appropriately.

An example of a sewing machine that has stand alone built in patterns and stitch capability is the Janome MC models. These will also include the LCD screen so you can see the stitches as you go along. This machine is a little more expensive but if you love to sew and you have the money it is worth the investment.

There are many other computerized sewing machines available and some even allow you to download new patterns off of the manufacturer website. In order for you to find what you are looking for please use our convenient search bar above.
